Who pays for maintenance costs?

We will pay for the building insurance, which will provide normal cover for perils such as fire, storm, flood, etc. But aside from that, you will be expected to assume all repair and maintenance responsibilities for the home.

In lieu of this, you will receive a 10% discount to the market rent which is then further reduced by the proportion of your investment in the home.

We think this is the most sensible way to structure the relationship as you select the home from the open market, live in it day to day and have the option to buy it at a later date.
